Can I connect more than one Freesat digital box to a satellite dish?

It is possible to connect multiple decoder boxes to a single satellite dish, and each must be connected to the LNB (receiver part of the dish) via a separate cable.  We only use quad lnbs so you have 4 outputs so you can have 2 freesat recorders or 2 standard freesat boxs and 1 recorder or 4 standard freesat boxs.

By having multiple digital boxes connected individually to you dish you are able to watch and/or record different programmes on each. The LNB receives the ‘whole’ signal from the satellite so each separately connected decoder is able to tune in to an individual channel

What is Digital freeview TV?

TV in the Norfolk region have now gone digital. The analogue TV signal that we all knew and loved has been turned off and replaced with a new, stronger digital TV signal. It will mean that almost everyone will be able to receive digital TV through an aerial (Freeview).

Digital TV also uses less broadcast space which means there is more room for new services such as wireless broadband, local TV and High Definition Television (HDTV).

In order to keep all of your TV service, you may need to convert your TVs to digital or buy a freeview boxs well as possibly upgrade your tv aerial.
